International Education

The IIE Program at South Mountain Community College (SMCC) is designed to help the college achieve the Maricopa Community College District (MCCD) strategic goal of creating a global awareness among our students, faculty, and staff in order that they may participate fully in the global community with a sense of understanding and appreciation for the many cultural influences that affect our lives.

SMCC’s Registration & Records Office will assist International students and F-1 students to obtain the required foreign student enrollment documents. In addition, the IIE Committee provides a wide variety of educational and support services and activities for SMCC F-1 students, international students, and the campus community as a whole.
