I chose to write my next topic on the men's first basketball game on November 30, 2005. It will be a home game against Mesa Community College. The South Mountain Cougars are the defending regional champions form last year, but they also lost six of the sophomores last year. The cougars have sophomore forward Rudy Bogan who is their leading scorer averaging 35 points a game. Isaiah Thompson freshman said "I expect us to blow Mesa out by at least 30." Freshmen Gabriel Green from the Mesa Thunderbirds says "It will not be a piece of cake, but I believe we have a pretty good chance on winning." I believe this will be an interesting game to watch. The Cougars are ranked 12 in the nation and believe they are now ready for lift off. Go Cougars!!
