International Education Event

The last week was very interesting because a lot of students participated in the International Event the last week. I went to the presentation about Mexico (Mexican culture) by Dan Martinez on Monday. It showed the Mayan culture, which was one of the largest tribes in the Americans; they had knowledge of mathematics, art and created the Mayan calendar. They also built large cities, such as tulum. Mexico is a country full of traditions, different customs and several dialects which are preserved to this day.

This is very good for students, faculty and staff they can participate in the community with appreciation for the many cultural influences that affect our lives.
