The effects of two beliefs in one nation will have a conflict. For instance, When Buddhism was introduced in the 6th century; Buddhism causes a vise versa on people belief on Shinto. As the religion spread rapidly through the nation it helps Shinto clan to become more organized. While Buddhism belief spread rapidly it cause an anti-Buddhist group. Then Emperor Shomu made Buddhism the official state religion in the year of 701-756 which cause the result of anti-Buddhism group to be destroyed because of Emperor encourage of nation working together to improve Buddhism. Also Christianity began to spread in Kyushu, Hideyoshi by Francis Xavier, Jesuit missionary spread Christianity thru six regional military lords then converted to Christianity. When Christian wasn’t taken seriously they attempted to put a stop it by crucified 26 Christian at Nagasaki in the year of 1597. Tokugasa Leyasu became Da Facto ruler of Japan allowed the missionaries to remain in Japan in the year of 1600. After 14 years later government forbade Christianity and forced them out of the country and causes 3,000 Christians to face death. But during that point there was 300,000 Japanese Christians. As a result Christianity remains strong and worshipped their belief privately. Now half of the nation considers them Shintoist or Buddhist.
