War of Video Games

The Video game business is taking the entertainment far beyond our imaginations. Systems are constantly improving technology and new systems are always in the process with new technology leading into the future. The war of video game systems today began when Sony Playstation 2 was dominating the market, Sony had already taken out Sega with the release of Playstation 2, and then Microsoft released their Xbox, and soon after Nintendo released their Game Cube. All systems have similar qualities, but they are very different. Software selection is a key point when in comes to deciding on a system. A few of the latest games, Madden 05, WWE raw, and NHL 05, have been made for both systems. However, even through out the competition of both systems released Sony was still on top. Playstation 2 would be a better choice for someone who enjoys playing role games. The Playstation 2 also has many more games than the competition of Game cube, and Xbox, also Playstation 2 has been out on the market for a longer period of time than both; that is why it has more games. When it comes to graphics and features, the Playstation 2 hardware was last in chart compared to all systems, but it seemed Xbox was dominating all system in hardware. In the end The Playstation 2 is the world leading video game console, and already over 100m console systems in the world, yet still its moving forward.
